The feature of our curriculum lies in the merging of theory with practice: in order to strengthen our students’ skills in senior care practice and theory, as well as in problem-solving and project-planning, our department offers an undergraduate thesis course on current senior care-related topics to foster abilities in problem-solving as well as and decision-making and analytic skills in project-planning.
Furthermore, in order to encourage our students to validate classroom theories and to reinforce practical skills, we offer a “senior care practice internship” in the fourth year at off-campus senior care institutions and corporations to close the gap between learning and practice, and to raise their competitiveness in the job market.
